I have just bought the Acer AL2671W and must admit that it
is a stunning piece of equipment.
Television is set up and picture and sound is perfect.
However when linked to my PC with VGA I get no sound. I see
that the audio in needs to connect to the audio output of my
PC with DVI or VGA connector. Could someone clarify that for me.
I am not sure of what I have to buy to enable sound on the PC side.
My Seventy something old head is just not functioning sensibly anymore.
    Thanks for any help.

    Hi,

the VGA or DVI input work only for video. For audio you need another cable, a simple one with ministereo male at both ends.
You plug one end in the audio outpout of your computer (the green one) and the other end to the audio in next to the VGA input on your LCD and it will work just fine.
