    Hi all,

Can anyone confirm or deny whether or not this player will also play V-CDs? I still buy these regularly, and I really like this player.

I hope it does, but nothing seems to mention this format. Its not mentioned on their website or in reviews...

    Thanks in advance,

    Paul.

Best thing to do is to ring Aiwa, as you stated Aiwa's site has no mention of it being able to play VCD's, but i had a look on QED and it's says it can QED......DV90

Thanks very much guys! I actually took a VCD with me to Dixons this weekend and tried it too. Very pleased! It does everything that I want now.

About time I found one too! And I like Aiwa stuff.

Whats the picture/sound like? Any complaints?

Oh yeah - one other thing - Have you tried the Multi-Region hack? Does it work OK?

    Thanks!

    Paul.

For the money it's a great unit - no compaints on the audio or video.....

Yes, the multiregion hack works also!

Only problem is I can't use the mulri-brand remote to control my sky box - works with the TV, Video etc just not sky

    Thanks for the info Paul,

Just to let you know - I don't think that Multi Remotes can control Sky Digital boxes. I have heard this before. Something to do with the infra-red signal being different on Digital.

    Thanks again for the info!

    Cheers,

    Paul.
