Has anyone used the Apple AirPort Express http://www.apple.com/airportexpress/ ??

I like the idea of playing my music from my laptop in the kitchen but having it come out my hifi in there.

    What's it like?

Yes, I've used it, and in a word, it's excellent. I would thoroughly recommend it.

It does what it says on the tin. Not a lot more to say really ... um, the analogue out isn't too bad, the digital out offers better quality (dependant on a downstream DAC), but other than that it just sits there and works.

There's a couple of nice remotes for it now too - the Keyspan Digital media remote, and the Griffin AirClick - they plug into the USB port.

Fantastic. I was planning on using the analogue output. Depending on my experience I would concider buying another one for the living room.

Do you have links for the different remote controls?

That KeySpan remote is pretty sweet.

Is the wireless speed of this device quick enough to cope with large AAC tracks encoded at 320 kbps ?
