Agggh, Thunderflies behind the screen

    Yes, you read it correct.

    I have 3 LCD's at home on various PC's and today I have noticed tiny thunderflies in front of the back-light panel, but behind the LCD.

    As I type I can see 2 moving about.

    Hopefully they will die and drop down out of sight - otherwise I will be looking at them for ever.

    Wow, what type of screen is that? Who's the manufacturer?

    Hopefully they'll die soon enough.

    One is a Dell 172FP (17")...now with 3 live invaders.
    The other 2 are 15" & 17" Sampo LCD's in the kids rooms.

    I have a Plasma also.....Gulp, fingers crossed

    Yep, they'll die eventually (especially with the heat from the screen) and drop down, heard this before. They come in through the ventilation holes...no worries :)

    I've always wondered what they where crawling behind the screen. Not really a problem but 2 of them did die right in the top middle of my sony tft :(
