Hi

I'm looking for some advice,

I am after a 49'' or a 50'' TV with a budget of £800 max (has to be flat as opposed to curved)
Within the budget i have narrowed these sets, with your knowledge which would be the best buy and would you recommend any others?

LG 49UJ670V £600 LG 49UJ670V 49 inch 4K Ultra HD HDR Smart LED TV Freeview Play
SAMSUNG UE49MU6400 £649 SAMSUNG UE49MU6400 49 inch 4K Ultra HD Smart HDR LED TV TVPlus
SONY BRAVIA KD49XE7002 £799 SONY BRAVIA KD49XE7002 49 inch 4K Ultra HD HDR Smart LED Android TV Freeview HD
SONY BRAVIA KD49XE7073 £799 SONY BRAVIA KD49XE7073 49 inch 4K Ultra HD HDR Smart LED Android TV Freeview HD
Panasonic 50EX700B £799 Buy Panasonic 50EX700B Ultra HD Certified LED HDR 4K Smart TV, 50" with Freeview Play, Slim Metallic Bezel & Switch Design Adjustable Stand, Silver | John Lewis

Any advice would be much appreciated,

Thanks

A lot of what I was going to write here I've written a moment ago in another thread, see: Question - Under 50", Under £700, for films and sport...

Out of the tv's you linked I would say the Panasonic is the best choice as it should use a high contrast panel compared to the others.

However there is better value to be found elsewhere as they are all 2017 models and are overpriced right now.

Thanks for the replies, the Panasonic was the 1st choice and with the deal @Evostance has advised of, its an easy choice...
However...
We actually walked out of John Lewis this afternoon with a Sony KD-49XE9005 @£899.
It was an open box however it's perfect.

That's a great price for Sony. Do JL advertise open box online or was it more a case of right place, right time ? After the Sony myself but £1,399 is a bit more than I want to pay.

It was a matter of being at the right place at the right time thing.
The open box was advertised as £999 but with some negotiations £899 is what we paid.
