Just started using the integral freeview facility on my Pioneer 435xde, but I obviously don't have a suitable aerial. Is there a particular brand or type of aerial which is superior, or do I just need a standard broadband digital aerial?
As far as I know a plain wideband aerial that is rated for digital reception is all you need, various sizes (numner of elements) are on offer which I assume would be an issue based on location and local reception difficulties. A word with a local installer would clarify things
A following are good high gain aerials: Blake DMX 10 Triax Unix 52 DAT 45 DAT 75 If you are connecting the aerial to more than one TV make sure you have an amplifier in the loft.
Thanks guys. Do you know the best place to buy these aerials. Are they available everywhere? I may have a go at installing one by myself.
The aerials that i listed do link to an online shop. I don't think you'll find them in your local diy store as the aerials listed are used by installers, you usually find the aerials in diy stores are the cheap ones.
