Now that I've had chance to set-up my new TV properly, it has shown up how poor the signal is from my aerial.

Whilst I live very close to both my local BBC and ITV transmitters, and hence can get away with a loft aerial, they are in different directions, with approximately 90 degrees between them.

Therefore I believe one aerial will always be a compromise, and I was therefore contemplating having 2 aerials, each one pointed at a different transmitter.

Please can someone more knoweldgeable than me on this advise:

    Is this feasible?

How should I go about connecting the 2 aerial feeds into 1 lead?

Any other advice or suggestions would also be most welcome.

    Thanks,

    Geoff

    Geoff,

    Good news!

Your information is over 20 years out of date.

The only tv transmission from Lichfield is analogue ch5.

All other terrestrial signals, both analogue and digital, come from Sutton Coldfield.

So, a good quality aerial on that station should give the desired results.

    TG.

Thanks for replying. That would explain why C5 is very poor (but no problem, I watch that through cable anyway).

I guess I only need get one new aerial to give me the best reception.

    Cheers,

    Geoff
