    Hi,
I have ordered myself a Sky HD box from ebay and have at the moment a Sky+ box in the living room and a ordinary Sky box in the bedroom.
I have been asked to put the Sky+ box in the bedroom but at the mo. only have the one cable.

Would a cable splitter be any good rather than putting another hole in the wall?
I understand that there would be some signal loss but would the picture be of an acceptable quality?

I have found plenty of them on ebay-

    Any advice would be welcome:thumbsup:
    Thanks

NO - you cannot split a satellite feed as you would an aerial.
The HD box requires 2 LNB inputs and the Sky+ box requires 2 LNB inputs if the recording functions are to work.
You will already have a quad output LNB fitted to the dish
