Dose anyone have a zip file or know a place I can get a copy of [AEonish], I have SMP wd live
Modified Aeonish for WDTVLive SMP - Western Digital Community
Thank you for thag
Any new themes for wd live on SMP
I am in the process of making my own as I cannot find anything I like, maybe you can beta test for me
Yes please, would love to Naaktgeboren
I have a few pictures here which will give you an idea of its look. I always liked the Mediaportal Black Glass themes so was very happy to get that on the WDTV. The look in general is very clean and uncluttered. What do you think?
That looks great, really easy to get around, what the info text like for movies, because I find it to light and hard to read.
Love what you done, can't wait to test it.
How long you been working on it
You should also let xbmc know about this too
interface theme for wd live
From your previous thread
Have you gone off Alaska Resurface already then? :-D
Seriously though, those screenshots look cool. If you're using the built in scraper ( I don't have the time or patience to use the Hubgen stuff) then I would be happy to test it for you too
I have not gone off of Alaska at all, I love the theme its great although the GUI is not very easy on the eye, especially as most of my viewing is at night time. (not sure why the designer thought white was the best option)
I have a few days off of work at the moment and have been chopping and changing this theme all day, its largely unrecognizable from the screen shots I posted last night
I will put some more pictures up later and rest assured, once I have something I am happy with, you can certainly give it a whirl
Alaska Resurface, do you have a zip file any of you guys, so I have looks and see for myself. Because I used Alaska on xbmc, I would like to see it working on wd live
Only if you have a copy. Send me a way to download it myself
The same place as tboggie linked to above should have resurface in
It's a link to the WD Communities, browse the Themes forum and you should find Resurface, along with a few other nice looking themes.
Thinking of trying a different one myself. Mainly using the WDTV for NetFlix at the moment, so I might have a look at one of the ones that doesn't use the built in scraper
Can't find it
Here you go
ALASKA RESURFACE 7/3/12 - Western Digital Community
Here's another one that's worth a look...
Mochi Shade Colour WIP - Western Digital Community
I installed it this morning before leaving for work, and first impressions were good. Very clean and uncluttered, and uses the built in scraper. One of the posters on page 2 of that thread has bundled it into a zip file, so you can upload that directly to the WDTV
Still looking forward to seeing Naaktgeboren's when it's ready
Its still coming along and looks absolutly nothing like the pictures I posted a few days back. I will put some new pics up tonight and would appreciate any constructive criticism that you guys may have.
I've found another really nice one thats become my current favourite
It's actually listed as being for the Hub, rather than the SMP, but I thought I'd have a look anyway. It works perfectly, looks very cool, and surprisingly uses the built in scraper too.
Think I've tried most of the ones on the WDTV forums now, but if anyone stumbles across any more, post them up
Looks nice from the screen shoots Ian,
Will give it a try tomorrow, and report back
tryed that new theme, and is dose not work for me, tryed putting on but say dose not work
I have looked at that theme as well, didn't realise it uses the inbuilt scraper, might give it a go now. How many movies are shown on Wall View? I ask as I use the Alaska Resurface at the moment and that can show up to 18 movies per page, I like this theme as it is very quick, no lag between movie titles at all, also having 18 on a page means less scrolling from one page to the next.
Has anyone got a zipped version less than 30 meg so that the SMP can load it?
Just had a quick look for you, and it only shows 10 movies in the "cover art" view. You can stick it in list mode, and have them all just listed instead, but I suspect you're like me and prefer to see the art
The zip file I have of it it only around 6 meg. Goldeneyepad, if it helps, i unzipped the contents of the downloaded file, and then re-zipped everything in the Coco folder, and it uploaded fine once I'd done that.
Thanks for looking, I think I will stick with the Alaska theme for the time being. Even though it is fairly plain, it is so clean and fast and shows me and more importantly the wife details of the movie. Hopefully he will finish the Night & Day versions at some point and I might have a play with those.
