Ive just ordered my AE700 and cant afford a hdmi dvdplayer yet.
Ive got a Pioneer 444 dvdplayer ( scart ) and an Xbox.

Wich one will give the best quality on movies? In case of the xbox, wich cable should be the best one, only got scart from it right now.

    Thanx in advance.

Without getting too fancy, component cables are your best bet (MD Hi-def AV pack or similar). However you also get VGA adapters for xbox that probably give the best output overall.

quote: "If your x-box has been modded, you can play games in 480p, 720p or 1080i (depending on the game)."

This doesn't require "chipping" as there is also a software mod available (see gaming Forum) that allows unlocking of Hi Def capability. I am waiting for my HD kit to arrive from Lik-Sang then I will try software mod as I don't fancy full chipping (need original software for Live access anyway so I don't require full chipping)

    Cheers
