ive just had read through and it makes me want both :)

im gonna have to wait till Z3 hits the market and do my own comparison in a demo :) will wait for cinehome's comparison as well

big thing for me is i havnt seen any one mention VB on the Z3. they even say in the comparison there is some on the AE700 and none what so ever on the Z3

Yeah I noticed the VB comparison myself and looks really neat for the Z3. When I demoed the AE700 ( and after picking my jaw up off the deck bought it ) I was looking hard for VB and saw none. Once I thought I saw it but then blinked and couldn't locate it any more.

Will do a more detailed assesment and post on here when its mounted and the screen is up.

    Have fun

Nice... I'm glad to see that they are slightly preferring the AE700 as far as picture quality is concerned. Agreed, they saw some VB on very rare occasions but sharpness, brightness and colours are important to me and I'll only be needing a slight amount of lens shift.
Phew, so I'm still happy to have ordered the AE700! Got a bit of a fright there... what if the Z3 turned out to be a lot better?! ;)

    then you cancel the ae700!

From what it seems most people dont have VB or had it but have fixed it (from my poll thing). Hopefully Ill be one of those... :)

But luckily that won't be necessary...
