    hi,

Never one to bog myself down with technical details, as never really sure, but can anyone tell me if the throw distance if the AE700 is similar to its older brother the AE300 which I own.

I think the 300 is classed as a short throw lens. Is the 700?

    Thanks,

    Cap :)

Just had a look on projector central and although the 700 has a greater range it can cover that of the 300

Sorry to hijack but I have a query related to this one.

Does anybody know if the replacement lens' on the AE300 will work on the AE700?

The specific lens Im interested in is the extrat short throw lens (LECWE300).

    Cheers

yup - you can get anything from between 76 inch diagonal and 149 inch diagonal depending on whether you sue 1.00 zoom or 2.00 zoom (or between... :) )
You can get an 88inch screen from anything between 8'9" to 17'9" from the screen.
