Does anyone know what all the options in the service menu do, I cant figure out what pic. shift, runtime prt or freeze msg are for, anyone know what these settings do. By the way my 700 is still flickering and is being picked up for repair sometime after christmas.

Its going back to panasonic, hopefully it will last over christmas , my 500 went pop shortly after it started flickering so im a bit worried the 700 may go the same way. Oh well another PJ joins the list of duff machines ive had , im gonna save up for a commercial PJ as my viewing regime is obviously too much for these domestic PJ's. Can anyone recommend a good machine that will handle 10+ hrs a day .

'Freeze msg', I believe, activates/de-activates the on-screen message when using the Freeze frame function.
