Does anyone have an idea how to remove the lens-shift lever on a AE700. Without removing, i can not open the case of the projector.

    Thanks in advance

    Taken from service manual :

    6.2. Removal of Upper Case

    1. Remove the cap of the lens shift lever.

    2. Unscrew the nut in the shift lever.

    Note:
    - Turn clockwise to unscrew.

    3. Turn the shift lever counterclockwise and remove it.

    4. Turn the projector upside down.

    5. Unscrew the 7 screws.

    6. Return the projector to the normal position.

    7. Remove the upper case.

    Hope that helps.

You don't happen to have access to the service manuals of other PJs do you?

    eg Hitachi PJTX100.

Just in case I ever need to remove the case!
