Hi guys , Does anyone know if the ae700 should accept a 1280x720 50hz signal using a vga cable from my pc using powerstrip? like the ae500 did. I have tried it and my pj just doest display any signal but displays 1280x720 @60hz no problem. any info would be appreciated.cheers Mike

Silly question this, but why would you want to do it at 50Hz if 60Hz works?

Micro-stutter issues have been discussed before: PAL DVDs are 25 frames per second, so refresh rate needs to be an integer multiple of that.

    Does 75Hz work over VGA?

Works over dvi but not vga, spent many an hour trying to get it to work and eventually gave up, dont notice the micro stutters on pal dvd's myself, even on fast pans it looks ok to me. More upsetting to me is the fact that it wont display my pc bios on the 700 but could on the 500 (using an ati 9600se).
