    God this is agony!

I got my shiny new Pioneer 575AS prog scan DVD player today - and I am just counting the nonseconds until Unbeatable get some stock in!

How did everyone else cope with the suspense. I think I'll immerse myself in work or soemthing - maybe thet'll work.

Has anyone else managed to find out when they might be getting stocking? They were fecking clueless when I spoke to 'em :)

    Got mine from Ivojo.
Very good service, no wait at all.

Erm, no offence - but even the best supplier in the world doesn't always have stock guys! :)

Besides, in this case I was aware of the stock shortage and went with them to take advantage of Interest free credit (other suppliers wanted a 2 week minimum cooling off period for this) - unbeatable didn't. I just hope that 2 week wait isn't enforced anyway, due to stock shortage. :D

So noone's 'in the know' then? Blast! I'll continue to harass customer services.

Actually, to be fair to Unbeatable - they've been very helpful (or at least polite) from the off. And if they manage to get the PJ to me by Friday I will be a happy bunny!

Also, I meant to mention V12 finance (which unbeatable use for their Buy now Pay later scheme) were brilliant! All queries dealt with immeidately, and the posted credit agreement was processed within hours of it reaching their offices. Nice!

Now, what else can I read up on whilst I'm waiting? Any suggestion? :D

I think everyone who wants stock had stock, there isn't a problem at the moment. Some forum sponsors even have deals on in the special offers section ;)

Cables...... Well now my trade secrets are really going to come out !

Well behind those curtains are two windows (see pic 1) and if the curtains are open or drawn, they still hide the inside edge, so I ran some trunking down behind the curtain (see pic 2), and then cut through the various wooden trim (see pic 3) and took the cables down to the floor, where I trunked it round to the various sources.

It took a while, and i've tidied it up a bit more since these pictures were taken, with some more polyfilla, and a coat of gloss paint.

Even the wife is happy with it !
