    Hi,

I have just bought a Lumagen HPD processor to use with my AE700. Just wondering has anyone used a scaler with this PJ.

If so, were there any problems and what sort of results did you get.

    Cheers

I'm using the HDP on an AE700 right now. Set the output res to 720p and it looks very nice. I do have some sparklies using a 7.5m DVI cable though (only tried the HDP to the AE700 tonight for the first time), I'll probably try a DVI switcher as they are supposed to boost the signal but not going to do anything until I see if my H77 has the same problem (when that eventually arrives!).

    Cheers,
    Andy.

That's a bit flash  a AE700 and an H77. Is it going to be the first AE700 for sale when you get the H77?

What do you think of the AE700 as I haven't got it out of the box yet.

    Cheers

It's nice but it's not an upgrade from my previous Sanyo Z2, more a sideways step. Contrast is good, colours are excellent, VB can be reduced by doing the flicker tweak but is still there spoiling things unfortunately. Overall for the money it's very good but it's the weak link in my system so the H77 will hopefully solve that.

    Cheers
