    Hi all,
right i`ve just about narrowed it down to two projectors, the PLV-Z2 and the pana AE500. It would appear that the pana gets slighty better reviews but some have actually critisiezed the smooth screen technology. Is there anyone out there who has seen this and not been able to get away with it? Or thought that the sanyo has a sharper pic.
And would that meen that the slight screen door effect on the sanyo is not objectionable.
    Help please :)
    thanks
    mark

You might wanna add the Hitachi TX100 to that list (which is considered around here the better of the three). And the Panasonic AE700...

yeh i did look at the hitachi but swayed towards the sanyo because of a 2 year guarantee also the TX100 is a little over my strict budget of £1000

Oh yeah and Z3, and Optoma H30 which is now £995 (was £1200). TBH if you stretch your budget just a hundred quid more to include the TX100, Z3 and AE700, whichever of those you go for will be a much better buy than something that may have only been 50 quid cheaper...

yeh i see waht you mean, it may be woth looking at the tx100 with an extended warranty in that case and pushing my budget. I`ve seen the tx10 and was quite impressed with that so the tx100 should look very good to me.

as for connecting to it i`ll be using a yamaha dvds540 with a pal prog output.
and not sure about dlp because of rainbows, even if i dont suffer them the wife and friends might.
