My AE500 bought at the start of April has recently started getting louder. The fan is making more and more of what is really a *very* low growl, but it is starting to be more noticable over the top of films. Which it certainly wasn't originally.

Anyone got any ideas, is it possible it could have got dusty?

........... A distinct possibility.... you should be cleaning the filter once a month or thereabouts unless it doesn't get dirty. Check and see. Another possibility is that the weather has become a little warmer and the fan is compensating......

    Mine was around 105!
I'm sure it was lower before.

    Cleaning the filter hasn't worked.

Well if it's like the AE100/200, the higher the figure the lower the actual temperature as these were (are?) inverted.
