    Hi all

Until now I have discounted even looking at the AE300 due to it's short throw lens. My pj position is fixed at approx 13' from the screen (due to cables) and I always thought this would give a screen size way bigger than 110" (diagonal).

However, on using the Projector Central calculator it says it will give an image size between 85" and 132". Is this correct? If so I may just have a look see at one of these.

    Thanks.

    Yeap.

Apparantly use the PT AE 100`s calculator for a more accurate screen size.

I will position my 300 at about 13-14ft and get around a 8-10ft screen (not diag.).

    Hope this helps!

Damn, im counting on the A300's short throw lens to give me a big picture! My setup is quite cramped. I will have the projector about 9 ft away from the screen - not ideal.
Hopefully the short throw will help.

    captain chaos,

i have my ae300 just over 9 feet from the screen and have an 80" wide (92 diag) screen - I think you'll be able to get a big enough image to your liking from that distance......

Thanks Tony. I was actually more concerned that I may not get a small enough image :) and find it spilling over the edges of my screen at smallest zoom.

    Thanks again.
