    AE200 running via a X800 Pro Graphics card on an XP PC via PowerStrip.

    I'm having a LOT of dam problems again, I had this same problem on my old Radeon 9600 card and not on this X80 card.

    On this very forum in the past there has been posted the settings for powerstrip to get the AE100 (or 200) into 1:1 pixel matching

    Paste the settings into powerstrip (may need a reboot) then select that mode and off you go.

    Well, done that. (Have to reboot on both cards (now and in the past) and you think Powerstrip will remember that setting (new mode) on next boot up.

    WILL IT BUGGERY !!!! :(

    In the past, I've tried about 5 or 10 times, then all of a sudden, it will stick and I can select that mode.

    This time, I just can't get the dam suckers to stick.

    I know the card can do it, as its done it before, just this time it seems dam obstinate (sp) and just won't hold onto my custom mode after a reboot.

    Anyone know any other way I can persuade powerstrip to hold onto the setting?

    Right.

    I think I've solved my problem

    What I was doing in powerstrip was selecting the secondary display (which is the display I wanted the new mode to be on) and then entering the custom settings and it would never set.

    Just for a trial, I left powerstrip on the primary display, pasted in the settings, and rebooted to find the setting were there still and I could set my secondary display to those settings...

    Hoorahhhh :)

    BTW: Out of politeness, here are the AE100 / 200 settings:

    ==============================================
    (for WIDE480) are:

    Pixel Clock 31.500MHz (or very close)

    Horizontal:
    -- Scan Rate 30.057KHz (or very close)
    -- Active 856 pixels
    -- Front porch 40 pixels
    -- Sync width 72 pixels
    -- Back porch 80 pixels
    -- Total 1048 pixels

    Vertical:
    -- Refresh Rate 60.114Hz (or very close)
    -- Active 480 lines
    -- Front porch 4 lines
    -- Sync width 5 lines
    -- Back porch 11 lines
    -- Total 500 lines

    Paste this into powerstrip:

    856x480=856,40,72,80,480,4,5,11,31500,342
