I have just tried to run my NTL cable to my AE100 by mean of a scart to svideo converter and a 10M cable but i can only get the picture in b/w. Can anybody help? Are the better converters and leads available?

I think you are trying to converting a composite video signal to s-video which will not work.

    Your options are:-

1/ Run composite vid to composite vid
    2/ RGB to S-Vid convertor (cost around 50 - 75 quid
3/ RGB to component convertor (cost around 150 quid)

    er.. I think that's it...

The NTL box doesnt output S-video

I have the same problem with projectors and NTl, I use an RGB-S-video convertor (not a bad picture)

Everyone has a different opinion of "Fine"

For me, the composite picture is "Awful"

The Converted RGB-Svideo picture is "Passable"
The problem for stems from the image being projected (ie exacarbating any image issues)
