QUOTE]I think the main problem is that pictures hes posting are incredibly tiny, he needs to upload at least 1024x768 or higher resolution so you get a better idea of the screen, perhaps having the picture taken close up to the screen and far away from the screen will give you a better idea perhaps ?[/QUOTE]

If it keeps some ppl happy this has been reduced down to 1024 x768 from 1600 x 1200 as I can't upload that into this forum.

Any closer and I won't be able to get the whole screen in as i am talking about a 9ft diagonal here ???? Not quite sure what taking a picture from further back might achieve as the image will only get smaller ? But anyway speaking practically I can't stand much further back.

Do you have your own web space?
If you do then you could up load the pics to that and post the links.
They look like nice pics, would be nice to see them higher res.

Spectre, I can see where you are coming from with the screen shots, but I think a blanket ban on *all* upload screen shots is a bit harsh. What about those individuals who have problems with their projectors? Unless they have access to some personal WWW space they won't be able to show their problem. I for example have an issue with the projector loosing synch, I couldn't show/explain this without a screen shot!

I assume linking to images on personal WWW sites is still allowed?

    cheers

Not harsh but could of been worded better ;)

Posting pics on the forum hogs bandwidth and slows it down, better to not post pics than to loose the search and pm facilities :)

Anyway 50mb of free webspace for all your lovely pics HERE

Register and get uploading and make um big :)
