I'm seriously considering getting myself the panasonc AE100. I still would like to know about the 4:3 capabilities of this little wonder.

If I have understood correctly the panny uses 640*480 resolution for displaying 4:3 picture. How much does this affect the picture?

I hate using just mode, so I would watch the 4:3 picture with side bars.

How about the data picture? How is windows desktop displayed? If you feed 800*600 picture through vga to panasonic, how is the picture quality? Does the down-scaling make text unreadable?

I will use the pj mainly fo DVD:s, but I still would like to know how this thing behaves in different situations.
