i have a aegis sub at the mo and am looking to replace it over the coming month or so.
would one of the power buy subs for £188 be better than what i have or would i need to spend more?
my room is 12' x 12' and its a terraced house so i am looking for something faster than my aegis but not to mental!

If the xls200 was sold through retail channels it would cost rel quake prices. They sell directly to keep the prices down. I have heard the xls200 and used to own the MS309 and they are both superb subs but the (old 200watt) xls200 was slightly superior and has a smaller footprint then the 309. I have only heard the Wharfedale in a dem room so cant comment against the other 2.

The xls200 build quality is easily as good as any decent (rel etc) sub maker on the market. The person you should speak to is my old m8 eviljohn2 as it was his I demo'd and now he owns 2 of them.

Have a look at this thread:

I have a silver forward firing XLS200, and I am still astonished at the value for money.

This thing weighs a ton, it's built like a tank, compact, and sounds awesome. I guarantee you will be very happy with it.
