Ae 500

Evening all,

This will be my first projector and I must confess to not being positive about what's what so I could use a little help!

This looks like a good projector to me as I 'think' LCD projectors suffer from low contrast and chicken wire effects.

1300:1 seems very high to me and I've read a review of the ptae300 which says the chicken wire problem has been eradicated.

If both these problems are solved on this machine and you get a free screen is this a particularly good buy?

Also I can't find a review on this model, or where to buy replacement bulbs. Is that an issue?

Comments would be appreciated (or alternatives for up to around £1800-2000)

Much obliged

many thanks kramer

this place is so huge it's taken me all day just to get around the HCPC forum, let alone anything else.

I'll keep reading...
