    :D

Maybe not such an April fool after all. If pannasonic keep cocking this projector up they may have to drop the price to £800 just to sell it. ;)

As I have said in a previous posts and Nic should be able to concur

See thread Do I join the Panasonic Club Now...

I have nothing against Panasonic, neither do I hold a flag for Sony.

Yes I may have gotten a little carried away and to that I appologise to members here. I certainly do not want to alienate myself from this forum.

My only point is that there are problems with that product and your idea of contacting Panasonic is good BUT .... you must do so as a forum, band together to approached Panasonic on mass.

Its time that us purchasers stopped taking second best and stood up for our rights.

I truly would buy this product if it was more reliable.

    Peter

This is good point now well made. I hope these 'problems' are just minor difficulties associated with a new product and not a major design fault. The market really needed a product like this at these prices.

I suspect that with all the interest in the 'latest' new budget projector then there is more emphasis placed on the product. All the previous BEST BUY budget projectors have been through similar issues.

At the end of a Tag deinterlacer this LCD could be a killer product for a games machine for me.;) I remain very interested as well but would also like a DVI input and PAL widescreen panel. Never satisfied.:D

Apologies petrolhead...my reply was far too acidic.....we will see what happens with next batch of Panasonics....hopefully they will be working towards resolving some of the faults....but only if we let them know....has anyone got the relevant contact details for Panasonic?
    Best regards

I`m surprised more representatives from companys like Panasonic/Sony/Sim/Sharp etc don't visit forums like these. I think they could learn a lot from what customers want in the future and the type of projector problems which are inherrant in all projectors no matter how perfect they are.

Maybe people dont wanna read posts that are meant as gags??
    It gets people's hopes up.
I wouldn't revist the post myself once i knew what is was about and maybe wouldnt reply to any of your new threads you post in the future. It wont help me with my Home cinema setup reading these kind of comments will it?? By the way, dont put a sarcastic comment to this reply, cause i won't read it. Feel free to waste your time.

    KInd Regards

well geoff some people do and some people don't , you obviously
don't have much of a sense of humour!

I never knew this forum was just for the humourless!!
Cmon already a £1500 projector that drops to £850 its gotta be a joke right! Lighten up mate Home cinema is not exactly the most serious topic in the world is it .

And lets face it you will read my response whether or not you bother to respond to it or not.

Whats life without a few laughs eh pretty dull!!
