I would like to buy a 42" screen for the theatre I work in for the foyer to show (low bit rate) feeds from the auditorium and DVDs. It will be set up high. Because of the low quality feeds etc am I better getting LCD or Plasma? If so which, I have approx £1200 to spend. Any help much appreciated..

If it's for poor quality feeds then a standard definition (ie less than PAL TV) Plasma will downscale and blur out those imperfections nicely.

Got to be plasma for this but be wary if you're going to show running schedules or other fixed graphics on the screen as they'll get burnt in.
