    Afternoon folks.

    Recently started running DayZ on my PC and although the graphics are not unplayable, its by no means sharp or detailed. I appreciate its a heavy graphics game, so do not expect to run this at full settings at 100FPS. Recently decided to upgrade my PC to an extent at a reasonable budget.

    My current specs are;

    AMD Athalon X2 250 3GHz processor.
    AMD Radeon 6450 HD 1Gb GPU
    4GB Ram

    Now, after a bit of consulting and searching around I can upgrade either the GPU or CPU to a newer model. Which would be of most benefit to me?

    The GPU I would look at a 1GB GTX 650 GDDR5 component or the CPU to a AMD FX-4 4100 Quad Core 3.6GHz CPU or similar for either! Suggestions for similar products welcome.

    Can you run it suggests that its the CPU that is struggling but would the GPU be of a greater benefit?

    Cheers,

    Polo

    It's the graphics card for sure, upgrading the CPU would make no difference with that card in there
