    Hi guys,

I am a newbie, so this might be a very silly question. I looking for a set of speakers to setup a home threatre for a room that is 5.5M X 5. I particular interested in Wharfedale because I have heard very comment about them.

Please advise which of these two set of speakers (Diamonds 9.6, 9DFS, 9.CM) or (Xarus XR 4000, XR 1000, XR Centre) suitable for Yamaha 1400 ?

For market price, which of these two set should be cheaper?

    Many thanks.

    Cheers,
    Wes2008

I am pretty new myself but i bought the wharfedales 9,6 9CS (couldnt find the 9CM) and 9,1 along with sw 150 as a systeme and i am pretty happy with them but i most be honest i havent compared them withanything in that price range i actually bought them without auditonning them but after all i am verry happy with them. I am using them with a marantz sr 7500 and a marantz dv6500 people told me that these speakers might be a little light for the components i have but as i said i am pretty happy.
