I currently have a sony all in one micro satellite system, which has a 100w x5 reciever, a sub, and 5 small 100w satellite speakers. Im looking to upgrade, but for now, would upgrading the fronts and centre to bookshelfs or possibly floorstanders be beneficial? How would it sound? What advice does anyone have on this subject?

    Cheers

    Jarrod.

    which model number?
you'll probably find the claimed '100W' is into a 6ohm load, music power, and @ 10% distortion!!
leaves you with about 80WPC and that would be enough for a new 5.1 package, if you like....like Mordaunt Short's Premiere, @ £300
