I've just got a FTA satellite receiver (not a sky digibox) off these forums and I'm intending to run it alongside my sky boxes.

I have a spare cable from the sky dish that I intend to use. Is there anything I should or shouldn't do regarding the configuration of the LNB settings? For instance is it ok to power the LNB from this new box or is it being powered by the existing sky box?

Basically I need to know if the quad lnb is in effect 4 distinct lnbs that can be controlled independantly as if they were seperate ones.

    Thanks

    Dave
