    Hey,

Ok this is my first post on here after browsing for around a week.
I have had a small bonus from work £600 and would like to blow it all on some speakers and an A/V amp.

My Mrs doesn't want any huge speakers cluttering up the lounge, so i am looking for some smallish satellite speakers. I haven't got a clue what would be a decent make to go for.

Basically, i will be running Sky+, DVD and CD player through the amp/speakers.
Not too sure if I want surround sound set-up either as this would mean cables everywhere.

Anyone have any suggestions for me? Any thoughts appreciated.

    Cheers

    Neil

:hiya: and welcome to the forums :smashin:

If you dont want surround then dont get an av amp. Just get a stereo amp.

Possibly the best deal you might be able to get is ordering the Canton cd1 and Yamaha rxv 650/ax750SE from Germany. You will save yourself something in the region of £300:D You can always hide hte cable sunder the carpets or arround the scirting boards.

There are 2 large threads about getting the canton's from Germany and the AX/RXV 750 from Germany
