    Hi,

I have just hooked up my new 868 to my SIM2 30H via HDMI.

Any suggestions on the best performance? ~ I pressume that 720 is that way to go with the SIM2 set to pixel to pixel aspect ratio?

Or, should I consider 1080i?

    Thanks.

    Captain Benefit.

Seeing as no Sim2 owners have popped by :) .. with my H77 720p is far better than 1080i. The higher res. produces a softer image, presumably due to inherent softening imparted by up-scaling not being countered by the down-scaling in the projector.

Obviously I'd expect a Sim2 to have a superior scaler to the H77 so it may be different with that beast.

Oh yes ... it's a LOT better feeding 576i via HDMI into a Lumagen scaler. ;)
