Was after a cheap ish freeview box for the bedroom and got one from Tesco (Bush) for £40. Was ideal but the adaptor was making a buzzing noise. Took it back and assumed that they all did the same thing.

Got one from Asda (Pacific) for £40 and there's no option to reorder the channels, which is real annoying.

Is there a box similar to the software of the Bush (channel reordering) but without a noisy adaptor?

Can anyone give any info as to my plight?

Would I be able to buy a less noisy adaptor for the bush?

If the Bush does all you require, why not pop back to Tesco when it's quiet & see if they'll unbox another & test it there? Alternately, by the time you've sourced & purchased another adapter it would probably make more sense to just buy a better box.

Such as? As long as it's not too much more I don't mind. It has to have the chanel reordering though.

    OO! get her!

My friend got a Bush from Tesco, but it died ... she forgot to water it. :nono: I can resist anything but temptation.

No, but seriously she did get a Bush freeview box, I didn't notice her adapter buzzing ... her batteries must have gone flat. Please I need help!

No, but really seriously, you can tell by my face :( , this time, I've obviously got to much of it on my hands, no matter how much I wash, (no really HELP!). I take it you mean the mains plug-come-transformer? I think you were just unlucky with a buzzy adapter, transformers do sometimes hum and/or buzz, they're usually filled with epoxy resin to cut down this inherent vibration. Go back to Tesco and try another.

Hope the jokes didn't get too much in the way. I really do need some medication. It's not funny.
