    I got a good deal on a Panasonic TH-50PHD8E.
And now for a question: I guess I only need a HDMI input-board, if I purchase a scaler as well? (thinking about the new one from DVDO). I'm planning on connecting my digital tv box to the scaler using scart, connect the dvd-play to the scaler using SDI (HDMI untill I actually get the upgrade), and connecting XBOX360 (when it comes) by the best possible way.

I see that you can also get a SDI input board for the screen, would it make any sence to get one of those, since the DVDO scalers can only input SDI and not output it?

I'm living in Denmark, but buying the screen from Germany - but the screen is covered by Panasonics European Warranty, right?

Any other usefull information I should be aware of?

    Thanks in advance!

hdmi should be all you need. The vga port also does component. I dont think the sdi board is any good to you, just send the scaler an sdi signal and output through hdmi

    Thanks for your answer!

VGA costs extra, right? Would it make sense to use VGA when I can use HDMI?
