Hi folks - brand new around here so forgive any gaffes I may make... !

Anyone know anything about the LG DVD6033? I am considering it as my first DVD player and have seen it for the paltry sum of £79. Anyone any experience or views to share? Any others sub-£200?

Snag is I need a player with an onboard decoder and 5.1 channel analogue outputs to go with my Arcam Xeta 2 processor. There don't seem to be that many around - any ideas on what's good at the moment?

    Thanks in advance,

    Sloobie

Don’t know of a sub £200 machine but I think the Sony DVP NS930 does onboard decoding and also does SACD.

 Just looked at the back of my 565 and it has those outputs. I got mine here.
And they are doing a limited offer on some free DVD’s. The 565 is a cracking player.

The new Toshiba SD-530E has it as well, but it hasn't been released yet, although leconcepts has a price for the mr-version of £200. It does Pal prog and can read DVD-A but not SACD.

The deal Garrett mentions on the Pioneer with 3 free dvds is really sweet, for £200.

Panasonic S75 mr-version can be had for £115 at techtronics, with ntsc prog scan, and reads dvd-a.

    Wasabi,
