I am in the market for a replacement amp for my Yamaha 3090 which has given me many hours of pleasure.
I was considering the new Pioneer AX-5i and was wondering how it compares with the yammy not just on the spec front but on sound.
I listen to both music and movies so this has to be taken into consideration.
Thanks in advance for any help

Go demo. Only you can say whether the Pioneer sounds "right"

Is the Yamaha RX-V2400 coming to your town soon? That might be a good one to watch if you like the Yamaha sound/DSP.
