I'm looking for a replacement for my Sony 525 dvd player.

    It needs to have:

    Built in Dolby Digital decoder
    Play CDR's/RW's
Play music formats created on my PC (ie the playlists you can burn via
Windows Media Player - .wma files)
2 scarts with RGB pass thru
    Not overly fussed about multiregion

It is to go with my Sony 32 FQ75, Yamaha RXV592 amp, KEF Q15 front, and KEF
Coda 7 rears and KEF coda something centre speaker.

    Thanks for the suggestions.

    hi

i think one of the best priced players about at the mo, if you want to stick with sony is the ns700, it will do all of the things you want apart from the play list thing, which no player as far as i know can play wma files only mp3. I think alot of people on the board would agree the picture and sound quality is exellent and you get the bonus of being able to play sacd, and all this for 150 notes from richer sounds or 199 multi-region, bargain, i would definatly recomend checking it out

    cheers
    lee
