Hi all. I have been offered an AV32 192 with 5.1bypass as was wondering if anyone here could tell me how it would compare with my now somewhat out of date Lex DC1

    Thanks

Should be at least as good as the LEX and better than the LEX with music. Also you can of course get all the latest decoding formats added to the AV32!

I'd have to agree with all of the above....I've had mine for a few years now,and the AV performance is very good(steering especially so)and the straight audio takes a bit of beating also...it can be improved further by using the 192kHz DACS or an offboard upsampler( as I use).

Yes I saw that one but it doesn't have the 5.1 bypass that I wanted. Any ideas on how much that upgrade is. Also the one I was offered has the 192 dacs.

The upgrade to 192 and 5.1 bypass was £545 at the time the 192 came out.

The fact that it is black, has the action switches and the DAB makes it such an attractive deal. Even it the price rises to a grand, its got to be a very tastey proposition.

BTW: the DAB was £695. If I didn't already have one I'd be tempted to buy it for the DAB and dump the rest back on eBay.

    Asset stripper? Moi?
