advice please on setting up more sky digi boxes

    hi, i am a sky subscriber on a entertainment mix at £21. i have just purchased 3 sky boxes , 1 quad lnb and a load of cable .when they are all connected up i am going to call sky and upgrade to multiroom . do i have to pay for each seperate box and i have only one phone box in my house could someone please tell me the best way to go around this . thanks

    Hi there, if you want your entertainment package subscription in each room then yes, you will be charged £10/month per subscription card required. If you want them just for free channels, then just set them up without a card and you'll not pay a penny, or buy freesat cards at £20 a pop.

    Sky's terms on multiroom are that all digiboxes must be connected to the phone line at all times. You'll need to ensure that this is in place, as they won't sort for you, but will be more than happy to charge each subscription at full price if you don't comply.
