This is my first entry to any forum ever,ever, please be kind & gentle.
I am try to build a home cinema system buying reasonable quality ( I hope) bargains. Having purchased an amp (Sony STR-DB940) & subwoofer (REL 100E) I would appreciate advice on matching my latest purchase a Kef Reference 100c centre speaker which is a 6 ohm + sensitivity 90db, do I have to match these ratings to the other two fronts ? or maybe some other member with the same centre can tell me their best match.
The fronts have to be bookshelf size and not too modern in style to look out of place in an older house.
I have some Ruark Epilogues for music but these are a different rating (8 ohm 87db) and also rear ported so maybe not an option for bookshelf use - opinions please.
