As i am fairly sure my Toshiba 32ZP18P doesnt support progressive scan, was just wondering if its worth getting the Philips 963SA over the Pioneer 656A? Anyone compared the two, without PS?

The Philips biggest point over the pioneer is prog scan. If your TV can't handle it & you won't buy a new one then the Pioneer is in the game. Its strong points are top picture quality (it's a pioneer after all) and its all in one box solution for music - SACD & DVD-A compatible. It's this that won me over to it.
