    Hi,

We need to buy a new tv our old 25" Sony from '88 has finally giving up the ghost.
I don't really want to spend to much as I'll be wanting to buy a HD the when the price gets reasonable and there more range to choose from.
This TV is £500 at Comet, or should I buy the PD50 for the extra 200?? Or is there a better set for around the 500 mark, really needs to be a 32", we have a big room

    Thanks
    satpal

What you get for your extra £200 is virtual Dolby Pro Logic, extra scarts and progressive scan for the dvd .Do you need these features if your going to upgrade soon to HD?

Dunno how quickly i'll be upgrading to HD it'll probably be a about a year minimum, or until prices become reasonable eg around the 1000-1500 mark. I think that I might just go for the PD 50.

    Thanks
