I'm new to Android boxes and have never used one before.
There are such a bewildering array of devices, I'm not sure what spec box I should buy or need or whether it should support KODI out of the box or one of the other similar apps.
Can anyone provide any advice. Budget up to £120.00
Requirements:
- Would like menu support for DVD's and Blurays
- DVD's backed up as iso images using DVDFab with menus intact

- Films are stored on a Asustor NAS
- Use AV1200 poweline adaptors for networking around the house, although the wifi is not too bad and supports 2.4 and 5 GHz
- No intention to use 4K.
- Films have been backed up at whatever size they are on DVD and Bluray
- Want cover art and film details like what I've seen KODI can do
- Output will be via HDMI to AV receiver
- Will sometimes connect HDD to Android box so USB required, preferably USB3
- Support for VIDEO_TS folders, if possible, with menus and seamless playback, same as Dune Media Boxes for a few years ago as I still have a number of films in VIDEO_TS format that I can't rip to ISO now
- Ability to possibly run KODI and/or other apps
- Won't be using the player for Netflix or Amazon. We use the apps on the LG OLED for that.
