Advice on projector to replace Sanyo Z4000

My Sanyo Z4000 still goes pretty well, but I have started about replacing it in some near future... I need a lens shift, and like my projectors to be dead silent ;). From initial search on the net I've been considering either:
1) Sony HW (55 model, maybe used 65?)
2) Epson TW7200, or TW9200
3) JVC X500r

As I don't have opportunity to compare them with my projector, I do wonder whether any of these projectors would give me significant improvement in picture quality? I am mainly watching during the night, so light output is not that essential perhaps. At the moment it's only 2D content, but I'm hoping to get a bit more into 3D over time...

Are there any other projectors worth considering? My budget would stretch to £2k or thereabouts ...
