Hi

So I’ve just moved house. And now need to place my Dali Ikon On-Wall Mk2 speakers on my rear wall above sofa. The sofa will be basically against the wall. (We’ve downsized and have these limitations imposed on us :) )

I have a 5.1 setup and understand these speakers should be left and right. They were in the old house but this can’t happen now.

Could I get some advice please on where these on wall speakers are best placed?

I’m thinking about 2 feet above my head when seated. Angled in towards primary seating position (these speakers are already angled). This any good?

But where do I put them on the wall horizontally? Sofa is 282cm long. Wall is 410cm long. So there’s some wiggle room between those dimensions.

Thank you!!

My dad had similar constraints to you so I put the speakers on their backs on the floor with the drivers shooting up to the ceiling. It sounds a bit weird but worked well and gave a very diffused rear sound effect which was better than they sounded on the wall pointing into the room.
