I have noticed that the viera does not change sources automatically anyway.
A good component lead is meant to give a better picture than a scart.
I have just ordered the Thor scart lead to connect up my Sky+ (special offer on this site £17.98) and a composite lead for my DVD (same offer £6.99) These were from TV Cables.co.uk, one of the site sponsors.
It has a very good picture from cheap supplied cables at present, but for £25 I thought it was worth it for peace of mind.
P.S if you are using the built in speakers you will have to run a scart cable to the DVD aswell as the composite lead for sound. :smashin:
