Hi, I recently bought a new 4k TV and planned on mounting it on a chimney breast whilst running the cables through the disused chimney void (it's been blocked up and the gas supply removed).
I've got the power supply for the TV through via magnets and a long piece of string. The hole is roughly 22mm on the front and the side of the chimney breast.
I'm looking at connecting the BT TV box (HDMI), Playstation (HDMI), ethernt and coax aerial through the hole also. Although there's plenty of room for the cables to fit through, but the head of the HDMI is too wide.
My thoughts are to run mini-hdmi x 2 through the hole and have two converters at the end to the BT box and playstation.
A 3m cable is plenty to connect all the devices.
Are there any other suggestions or is the mini-hdmi the best option?
Cheers
