Advice on buying LCD HDTV

Hi guys, I need your advice on which LCD HDTV to buy in ready for the XBOX 360. I was reading in a mag the TV must have DVI or HDMI input, HDCP and component video input is this correct?
The ones I have been looking at are the LG 32LX2R, SAMSUNG LE32R41BDX/XEU and PHILIPS 32 PF7520D/10, now only the LG has all the apparent required connections yet I have read on this forum people are buying the Samsung. As you can tell I'm new to the world of HD and don’t want to spend my money on something that wont be compatible.
I have £1200 to spend and hope to hook it up to my JVC TH-S55 system.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks

I've had a Samsung LE32R51BD(new model of what you're looking at) for a few months now and it's superb! All the reviews and tests of LCDs I've seen included the LE32R41BDX, even when the R51 was a newer model. I considered the LG and the Philips, all have the connections, but the Samsung looks the best. Apparently more revised models out at the end of the month. Hold on to your money until then!?

all of those have the connections you need. For xbox 360 you only need HD compatible component inputs. For Sky and HD movies down the line, you need HDMI/DVI with HDCP - again, all your listed TVs have those.

As far as £1200 goes, add the Panasonic TX52, JVC32DS6, and Toshiba 32WLT58 to your list - all can be had under your budget on the net.

Don't worry about having a budget, you'll get a fantastic 32" set with no compromises for that price

I have decided to buy a LCD instead of a plasma( screen burn and short life?!) to replace my old philips 28" CRT for the main use of the xbox360 WHEN it arrives :( and watching tv, via telewest.

Like many other people i do not know which one :confused:and i dont really want to downscale any smaller than a 28"

I have been looking everywhere and narrowed my decision to the following:( I do have a budget, £1000 at a big push!)

Lg RZ32LZ55 (LG)
LE32R41B(samsung)
S HDL27 (Sagem)
Video 7 32" model

The LG seems the best value. HDCP and HD ready at a cost of around £780-800 and looks fantastic  .Any opinions or help on this would be appreciated.

:lease: :)
